Weekend

Days in weekend are the most awaited days for most people. Lazy time, family trip, hangs with friends,  watching movie, having me time, and every fun things people do in weekends. But not every one can having so much fun in the weekends, not every weekends i guess. Last weekend, I spend my time with my little family in our little apartment. It's another time to do my duty as a housewife and mom, cook for family, cleaning up, caring my baby(/ies), and doing everything together. It isn't sound really fun and sophisticated, for me it's more than enough. Looking my son and husband happy makes peace in me. I feel grateful and it's make me happy. Happiness is simple..

Spaghetti Olio Aglio Recipe

This is a simple and quick recipe, it can be done in about 20 minutes. Very suitable for dinner or lunch, for everyone who doesn't have much time to cook, even for beginner cook! :)

Ingredients:

1 1/2 spoon of Salt

1 spoon of dried parsley (fresh one is better)

Chopped 8pc of Garlic

Sliced 1 or 2 Chili (remove the seed)

1/2 spoon of Black Pepper

200 gr Spaghetti, boil for about
10 min with 1 lt water then drain it

50 ml of Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Zen in kitchen, a little help from little chef

How to make :

• Heat a cooking pan with a drizzle of olive oil
• Add garlic until it's fragrance, then add chili
• Add the spaghetti, salt, black pepper, parsley and the rest of olive oil
• Stir until it's even, done!

Note : You can add some protein, chicken and sea food are best. But processed meats are fine too.. :)

Result: YUM!

With protein added, i used diced hamburger

Lullaby

It's almost 9 o'clock at night, and I just put my 14th month old boy to sleep. He's not an "easily-sleep" boy, I should make him a bit tired before he sleep. We usually play with toys in bed, reading books, play jokes, and today is singing and dancing. This is one of my favorite lullaby song, i found it in youtube. A lullaby song "It's a big world" by Renee and Jeremy. A very sweet music and lyrics, I love to sing this to my son..

birthday blog

Wow, this is my new blog! I'm excited to write my own blog. So this is my birthday blog and also my husband birthday! Yippiey! There's a lot to celebrate, at least i bought a birthday cake for my husband and woke him up at midnight.. Well i know its so typical and mainstream, but for me (currently a housewife) that little thing is important to make someone feel special and respected. So, do anything you can, even a simply little thing to show that you CARE! (It's count, by the way... :) :) :))
